Festival Plaza in Edison is one of the most interesting food-focused shopping centers in the area, especially for anyone who enjoys exploring Asian markets and cuisine. Anchored by a fantastic H Mart, the plaza has become something of a small culinary destination, with a variety of bakeries, eateries, and specialty shops representing many different Asian food traditions. The H Mart alone is worth the trip. Large, bright, and incredibly well stocked, it’s a paradise for anyone who enjoys cooking Asian cuisines at home. The produce section is particularly impressive, with an enormous variety of vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, and fruits that are often difficult to find in typical supermarkets. Everything is beautifully displayed and very fresh, and the prices—especially for such high-quality produce—are fantastic. The seafood department is another highlight, with live seafood tanks and a wide selection of fresh fish and shellfish, reflecting the market’s Korean roots while serving a wide range of Asian culinary traditions. The aisles are filled with Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian pantry staples—from noodles and sauces to snacks and specialty ingredients. One of the m

Fantastic strip mall with a giant H-Mart Asian supermarket along with fabulous eateries and other shopping places. Tasty Moment is my favorite restaurant in this Asian center and they have the best Xiao Lun Bao aka soup dumplings within 30 miles.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FINALLY FOUND IT!!! I’ve been on a quest — and not just any quest… a full-blown, destiny-driven, ice cream pilgrimage. I searched high. I searched low. I battled cravings and disappointment. And just when I was about to give up… THERE IT WAS. ✨THE HOLY GRAIL OF ICE CREAM.✨ I couldn’t believe my eyes. I might have cried a little. Okay, a lot. The moment that first spoonful hit my tastebuds, I ascended to a higher plane of existence. Flavor? Immaculate. Texture? Heavenly. Worth the wait? ABSOLUTELY. If you’ve been looking for that one special ice cream, this is your sign. Run, don’t walk. You’re welcome. 🍦🙌

New Jersey plazas are the best. It’s hard to find another place in the U.S. that packs so much vibrant Asian culinary culture into one spot. Whether you’re craving Korean BBQ (Gen), revolving sushi (Kura), fresh tofu stews, hot pot, or Taiwanese desserts from Mango Mango and Meet Fresh, this plaza has it all. The lineup is a dream for food lovers: Paris Baguette for pastries and coffee, H-Mart for groceries, Fukuya for sushi, and so many specialty restaurants and dessert cafes that it’s easy to get overwhelmed (in the best way). There’s even an indoor golf café (Birdies & Lattes) for a break between bites. This place easily outshines typical strip malls. If you’re an Asian food lover or just looking for a memorable outing, this plaza is worth the drive.

Festival Plaza, located at 1745 State Route 27 in Edison, New Jersey, is a vibrant shopping center offering a diverse array of Asian shopping, dining, and wellness experiences. The plaza features a mix of stores, restaurants, a spa, salon, and healthcare services, providing visitors with a one-stop destination for all their needs. Key Highlights: • H Mart: A popular Korean market offering a wide range of Asian groceries. • Dining Options: The plaza hosts various eateries, including Boom Boom Chicken, Paris Baguette, and upcoming spots like Kura Sushi and Fish Bowl Bistro. My favorite cake place is “Mango Mango”. • Wellness Services: Visitors can relax at the Island Spa, a Korean sauna spa offering rejuvenating treatments. According to me, Festival Plaza is “a mainstay in the Asian Food Corridor hosting a Korean sauna spa, grocer, bakeries, and various eateries of the Asian persuasion.” While the plaza offers a rich cultural experience, many times I have noted that parking can be challenging during peak hours. Overall, Festival Plaza provides a unique shopping and dining experience, especially for those interested in Asian culture and cuisine.
